Modern Organic

East Hills, NY

The entire first floor of this stunning 1920s East Hills Tudor was wholly transformed, creating a harmonious blend of modern elegance and timeless character. This extensive renovation included a new kitchen, pantry, home office, dining room, bar, library, family room, living room, entryway, powder room, guest bathroom, and the refurbishment of all four family bedrooms along with their two accompanying bathrooms. +

The homeowner desired a clean, modern aesthetic with a focus on simplicity. So, we used a palette of creams, beiges, and off-whites throughout, accented by black, to contrast with the beautiful bones of this four-story North Shore of Long Island home. We incorporated quintessential concepts like black and white marble checkerboard floors and gold leaf ceilings but contrasted them with modern furniture and lighting fixtures. The result is a graceful, balanced Nassau County home renovation that is warm and proportioned.
